The Toledo chapter of AIGA started in August of 2007, and I was lucky enough to have some of my former professors as the founding members. This existing relationship made it easy to volunteer my services and resources to create unique pieces for the growing chapter.

The valentine card was a simple, yet ambitious piece which was originally screenprinted in chocolate, but after headaches and having to re-melt the chocolate with a blow dryer while it was on the screen, we were forced to revert back to standard brown ink. This piece was featured in the 2009 Print magazine Regional Design Annual.

I was also asked to organize the AIGA sponsored Design Charrette in February of 2009. At this event, we chose a local non-profit organization, and redesigned their identity, collateral, and website all in a single day.
